I am an Anglican Priest working in Ely, Cardiff – an urban priority area parish on the western edge of Wales’ capital city. My interests are liberation theology, anglo-catholic renewal, the desert fathers and mothers, contemplative-action, community involvement, Tolkein, radio 4, morning coffee and afternoon tea. This blog is an attempt to share my homilies and reflections on parish life with a wider community. Comments welcome.
I pray the daily office every day, (usually at 6.00 am and 5.00 pm) try to practice a little mindfulness before the blessed sacrament, and welcome prayer requests.
I am a very slow language learner, and try to juggle with a little French, Latin and NT Greek every day.
I also like to juggle
I am officially the priest in charge of the parish of Caerau with Ely, and serve two Churches, S. David’s, on the main Cowbridge Road West, and S. Timothy’s, on Heol Ebwy, further into the estate.
